Reading Log Entries

Every week you will create a post about your independent reading. In each post, you must include the following:

• A page number goal and rationale for that goal. For example, if I have a very busy week I might only expect to be able to read about 15 pages before bed every night. So, my page goal for the week would be around 75, maybe 100 with a busy weekend as well. 
• The number of pages that you read last week and why you did or did not reach your goal. 
• A 100-150 word summary about what you are reading.

My First Blog Post

For this post, you will embed your Slides project. Watch the screencast video to learn how. I recommend pausing the screencast between steps so that you don't have to keep going back to the video. After posting your slides write a paragraph about Blogger. Here are some questions to consider discussing:

1. What was your assignment?
2. What is Blogger?
3. How could Blogger be used in school? By teachers? By students? What is a way it could be used that is not currently happening?
4. Explain a challenge someone may have using Blogger?
5. What is the difference between www.blogger.com and your blog's URL at .blogspot.com?
